I seem to recall the Chili Pepper's "Dani California" catching flak for ripping off Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers "Last Dance With Mary Jane". I still like both.

My problem is that I notice these things a lot and then I can't remember one of the songs' names. However, I do know for absolute certain that one part of this song (skip to 2:56. It might come up earlier, but that's where I found it just now) is stolen from an arcade claw game. No joke. I have never been able to find a recording of it or one of the machines themselves, but there is no doubt in my mind that their music helped to "inspire" this song.
